🍽️ Upscale “Montauk” Restaurant Coming to Redondo Beach

Lavae McClinnahan, a luxury industry veteran, is opening Montauk at 1611 S. Catalina Ave. in Redondo Beach, offering upscale seafood with an East Hampton aesthetic. He is investing $1 million into Montauk and aims to complement the area's casual vibe with "affordable luxury" while maintaining sophistication. Full Story here.

.🌊 AttaGirl Mediterranean Cuisine Opens at 1238 Hermosa Ave

Chef David LeFevre, renowned for his restaurants M.B. Post and Fishing With Dynamite, just opened Attagirl in Hermosa Beach. Featuring a California Mediterranean menu crafted by Chef Alice Mai (also executive chef and GM of Fishing With Dynamite), Attagirl brings coastal Mediterranean influences from southern Spain, Italy, and Greece to its kitchen, offering handmade pasta, fresh-baked pita, olive oil-dressed focaccia, and classic mezze like hummus and spicy feta. Many of us fondly remember Fat Face Fenners, which sold in 2015 and was renovated and reopened in 2017 as Tower 12. It’s the place to be on Pier! You’re upstairs, so it’s a people-watchers paradise with bird’s eye views of the plaza and all the goings on at Sharkeez, Patrick Molloys, and American Junkie.

Great selection of beers, and the food is top-notch. The menu is extensive; I highly recommend the Double Meatball Hero or the New England Lobster Roll for a delicious lunch. Service is excellent; thanks to Justine for posing for the pic! Check it out!
