MBO Weekend is here! The iconic AVP Manhattan Beach Open (established in 1960) is considered by many as the Grandaddy of the AVP Gold Series. Featuring top players, including Olympians and past champions, the stakes are high in competing to win and earn a place in the sport’s history, plus a prestigious spot on the Volleyball Walk of Fame. Speaking of AVP winners - this year’s tournament will be celebrating 65 years of volleyball history, honoring both present and past champions. The party kicks off with the Walk of Fame Ceremony at the Manhattan Beach Pier TODAY at 3.30PM. Come down and join the festivities with 2024 champs: Theo Brunner, Trevor Crabb, Taryn Kloth, and Kristen Nuss.

🎉 Endless Summer Beach Tennis Tournament @ (14th/The Strand), HB

It may be too late to sign up to play - but it’s not too late to get down to the Strand this weekend and cheer on the beach tennis players serve, lob, and smash their way to division prizes and beach tennis fame!

The Blue Breeze Band plays Motown, R&B, soul, funk, jazz, and blues, covering hits from the 1960s and 1970s to modern jazz tunes. Only two more Pollywog summer concerts to go after this one - including Britain’s Finest (Beatles Experience).
